Istanbul Youth Summit 2026 | IYS 2026 Turkey

Applications are invited to the Istanbul youth summit 2026. The IYS is among the largest youth summits in the world. The organization of this summit is done by the Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) Foundation. The program will be hosting young leaders around the world in Istanbul, TURKEY, between the 9th and 12 th of February 2026. It is an opportunity to exchange new ideas, to meet change makers, and to contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

A very thrilling section of the summit is the International Social Project Competition. In this section, participants will present the original solutions to real problems within their communities. In addition to the competition the youth forum involves panel talks, leadership workshops, cultural evenings and global networking sessions, therefore, ensuring that the forum is well rounded as well. The participants gain more than just skills by attending, as they also make lifelong friends and professional contacts.

What is different about IYS 2026 is the combination of learning and action. Delegates do not only listen, they collaborate in teams to create meaningful projects in such areas as education, health, climate action, economic growth, and peace. The summit provides not only knowledge but also memorable experiences and great memories about Istanbul, this city of the East and the West togetherness.

IYS Pariticpant Types:

• Funded Participant (Scholarship based): Selected through a competitive process; includes the majority of expenses (program fee, accommodation, meals and airfare) with the minimum budget of USD 500.
• Ambassador: Individuals who share the summit on their social media or get others to come aboard. Discounts, special perks, or a chance to attend for free may be offered to Ambassadors.
• Outreach Partner: Youth groups, organizations, or institutions that collaborate with the summit to make the word known. In exchange, they might be given reserved seats to members, discounted fees or their logo/brand displayed during the event.
• Partner: A formal agreement between two or more organizations to work together, share resources and assist in the achievement of one another.
• Self-Funded Participant: You fund your personal program fee, hotel, meals, and flight tickets.

Eligibility Criteria of the Istanbul Youth Summit 2025 in Turkey:

• Applicants of all nationalities are welcome
• The age should be 15 to 40 years
• All applicants with any academics and work experience may apply
• It must be with 18 years of age without a criminal record
• Should not be a member of any extremist or violent organization
• Not required to pass IELTS, TOEFL or English certificate

How to Apply for the Istanbul Youth Summit 2026 in Turkey:

You should read the official guidelines of IYS 2026 Turkey before application. Apply through the following steps to attend this international youth summit

• The students are to apply via the official site.
• To start with, create an account.
• You will receive a registration email to your email account.
• Next, log in.
• Fill the IYS registration form
• Give the most basic information such as name, date of birth, address, experience, etc.
• Using your own words-“ Improving Our Health Care System -Does Our Health Care System Need to be Fixed—
• Share the Istanbul Youth Summit 2026 posters and share your self-photo on the Twibbon link.
• Complete all the mandatory fields.
• Fill in your application form correctly and pass it in.
• Access the Instagram and Tik Tok pages of Istanbul Youth Summit and Youth Break the Boundaries as well as YBB YouTube channel.
• Post your Twibbon photograph to Facebook or Instagram. Like the Facebook page @istanbulyouthsummit and tag 5 friends.
• Poster Share the poster in a minimum of 3 groups on WhatsApp or Facebook.
• Make screenshots of these steps of registration.

Selection Criteria for the Youth Break the Boundaries Summit:

The assessment of your application will be done on the following basis:

• Educational and work experience.
• The application form quality and completeness
• Power and creativity of the essay
• Interview performance (in case of candidates shortlisted to scholarship based seats)

Istanbul Youth Summit Deadline Extended:

• The application deadline for the YBB conference is September 30, 2025
