Simmons University Kotzen Scholarships 2026-2027 is a fully funded scholarship to international students. It is an Undergraduate scholarship. The scholarship is full-tuition, mandatory fees, and room and board.
This scholarship is full tuition, all required fees, and room and board. An additional amount of $3,000 is awarded annually for study abroad, summer internships, tuition for short-term courses, or research support. The scholarship is granted during a four-year undergraduate period of full-time study, and takes precedence over any other merit scholarship which the recipient may have been awarded. Eligibility Criteria for Simmons University Kotzen Scholarships
The students who will be applying to the Simmons University Kotzen Scholarships should possess the following:
Education degrees
- Language required: English.
- Eligible Countries: All World Countries
- Standardized test score of 28 or above (ACT), 1300 or above (new SAT), or 1250 or above (old SAT -CR+M). At least 600 in each SAT section is highly recommended.
- Apply as a freshman in the fall semester
- English is not the native language, and then SAT or ACT and TOEFL scores are required
- College preparatory coursework, such as a more advanced math course in the middle of, or before, your senior year of high school
- GPA of 3.3 plus, unweighted
- Honors, advanced placement (AP), and international baccalaureate (IB) coursework, where it is offered to them in their high school systems.
How to Apply for Simmons University Kotzen Scholarships?
To receive Simmons University Kotzen Scholarships, kindly apply by following the steps below :
- The applicants need to submit their scholarship application as well as their admission application to the College by December 1.
- The essay and resume should be sent by email: ugadm@simmons.edu with the subject line Simmons Distinguished Scholar Award application by December 1 as a PDF or Word Doc attachment. The full name and date of birth of the student must be put on each page of the document.
- Formal Essay (no more than 300-500 words): Write an essay in which you describe your leadership style with specific examples of what sorts of experiences have shaped you as a leader, and what kind of leader you think you will be at Simmons.
- Interview: At the end of the process, finalists who are to be considered for the scholarship will be asked to undergo an interview that will be done on campus in February. If you are an international applicant who cannot appear on campus, you can be interviewed via Skype.
